NyxCollective LLC ("Company", "we", "us", "our") operates NyxPrism™ (the "Software"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with the Software and our website at nyxprism.com.
We are committed to minimising data collection and protecting your privacy. This policy is designed to be clear and plain rather than legalistic.
Depending on the features you use, we collect and process:
All core PDF operations - split, merge, compress, rotate, watermark, protect, unlock, OCR, image conversion, and heuristic AI analysis - are executed entirely on your local machine using the libraries installed with the package. No network connection is required or initiated for these operations.
The --strategy heuristic AI mode also runs entirely locally. It uses pattern-matching and rule-based analysis without any external API calls.
The command-line package can optionally use OpenAI when you provide your own API key and select an LLM strategy. The web dashboard's cloud AI features use Anthropic only when NyxPrism has explicitly enabled that integration; otherwise those features are unavailable. When enabled, relevant extracted text, prompts and, for AI fillable-form creation, rendered page images (including scanned pages) are sent to Anthropic for processing after you approve the assistant's offer. Dropping a PDF into the form editor or choosing manual editing does not send it to AI. Do not submit sensitive or regulated information unless you are authorized to disclose it and the applicable agreements and safeguards have been verified.
We use Vercel for website hosting, Railway and PostgreSQL for API and workflow storage, Firebase for authentication and profile data, Stripe for billing, and Paubox for transactional email (including recipient addresses, generic message content and tokenized signing links; signed documents are not attached to transactional email). Optional integrations include Sentry for error reporting, Google Drive/Dropbox for document exports, Twilio for SMS and Anthropic for cloud AI. These integrations are disabled unless enabled by NyxPrism configuration. Google Fonts may also receive standard web request metadata. Provider processing is subject to the applicable provider terms; a configuration gate does not establish a signed BAA or HIPAA compliance.

This data is used solely to manage your subscription, provide support, and communicate service updates. We do not sell, rent, or share this data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Billing card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by NyxCollective LLC.
Signature and distribution documents are stored in our database to provide recipient access and completed-document generation. Public links expire after 30 days. Owners can delete stored workflows from the dashboard at any time. Expired workflow records are automatically deleted 30 days after expiration. Transactional and security logs may be retained longer where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
Firebase maintains authentication state using browser storage. NyxPrism also stores non-sensitive interface preferences and local usage counters in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.
If you use My Documents (Professional), the files you choose to keep there, including results you ask NyxPrism to save automatically, are stored in our database so you can open them on any device. They stay until you delete them or delete your account. Each account can store up to 1 GB.
So that the dashboard looks the same on every device, we store the names, sizes and dates of recent files you create and your usage counters with your account. This is the list of names only, never the files themselves, unless you also keep them in My Documents.
When something goes wrong in the website or the NyxPrism Windows app, we send a technical error report to Sentry so we can fix it. Reports contain the error message, the page address with sign-in and document-link tokens removed, browser and operating-system version, and recent navigation steps. They do not contain your documents, typed values, cookies, or request headers.
The NyxPrism app from the Microsoft Store opens the same NyxPrism web app at nyxprism.com in its own window. It collects and processes the same information described in this policy and nothing more. It does not access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, or files other than the ones you choose to open.
Signed-in users can download a copy of the data NyxPrism stores about their account, and delete their account permanently, from Settings in the dashboard. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription and removes your sign-in, profile, stored signature and distribution workflows, templates, API keys, saved contacts, My Documents files, and synced activity. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by contacting us as described below.
NyxPrism™ is for adults. As our Terms of Service require, you must be at least 18 years old to use it, including to create an account or sign a document. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we delete it if we learn we have. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We use encrypted transport, access controls, expiring high-entropy recipient links, and restricted administrative access. No system is completely secure. You should:
