Document Workspace
Open a PDF once, chain local tools, export editable Word/Excel files, edit bookmarks and run basic accessibility/PDF-A readiness checks.
Your PDF is processed right in your browser - it isn't uploaded to NyxPrism.
How it works
- 1Open your PDF in Document Workspace.
- 2Choose a local tool, editable text export, bookmark editor or basic readiness check.
- 3Download the result and continue with the next PDF without uploading again.
What you get
- Current-document preview and bounded in-memory document history.
- Browser-local DOCX text and XLSX visual-row exports; original layout and tables are not reconstructed.
- Bookmark titles, page destinations, hierarchy and undo/redo.
- Basic observable accessibility and PDF/A declarations with a downloadable JSON report; not certification.
Questions
Is Document Workspace free?
Yes. Create a free NyxPrism account and use it as often as you like.
Are my files uploaded?
Your PDF is processed right in your browser - it isn't uploaded to NyxPrism.
Does it work on Mac, Windows and phones?
Yes. NyxPrism runs in any modern browser, and you can install it as an app on your computer.
Does this upload my PDF?
The workspace and its exports/checks process locally. Existing optional cloud-save settings still apply to downloads.
Are Word/Excel exports exact copies?
No. Word exports editable selectable text in approximate reading order; Excel groups text fragments into visual rows on one sheet per page. Review the output. Scans need OCR first.
Does this certify PDF/A or accessibility?
No. It checks basic declarations and selectable text, not full font embedding, reading order, contrast, image descriptions or every compliance rule.
